CHSS knows its vendors are valuable resources, believes in sustaining a healthy vendor marketplace, and that by working in partnership, we can achieve our mutual supply chain objectives. CHSS will further encourage the vendor community to participate in GPO initiatives (HealthPRO) in order to maximize the business awarded to them.
Because CHSS is exclusively Sourcing, vendors will continue to meet with Purchasing staff within our member hospitals for operational issues, support, etc. CHSS will be involved on the contracting/tendering initiatives and with ongoing vendor relationship management.
